Barcoo Bridle
Barcoo is a name for a bridle that has been used in the Australian bush for over 200 years.
The bridle first appeared in the Barcoo River district in the rugged outback of South Western Queensland. It is simply a forehead band, two cheek pieces, a pall band (that is now adjustable but wasn't originally so) and a throat latch. The bit is placed by undoing the check straps. The reins are attached to the bit.
The Barcoo Bridle is about all that is seen in the bush.
Colors brown, which come normally with brass hardware, or black, that comes with stainless or nickel fittings.
Cost with reins, $195
