Bullwhip Kangaroo Hide
Our KANGAROO HIDE WHIP is made from what is the toughest leather on the planet, for its weight. Shown is a bullwhip 6ft 6” in length, from the Turk’s head (the knob at the handle) to the end of the plaited section.
The braid is 12-plait. This particular whip is made with the De Longis handle, named after the legendary Hollywood whip cracker Anthony De Longis.
The handle is in a length that is between the traditional short handle of the American bullwhip, and the longer handle of the Australian Stock Whip.
This hybrid handle promotes greater accuracy. Whips can be made in any length. For each foot in length from this 6’6” whip, add $100.
The whips are custom made, to order, and the length of whip needed depends on the height of the whip cracker, and what he or she wants to do with the whip.
The Turk’s head shown has red leather on the ball of the handle, but this can be replaced with a silver plaque on which a name or initials could be engraved. Add $100.
