Endurance Racing Stirrup
The endurance racing stirrup weighs 13 ounces, and comes in black or silver aluminum, with 1/2" rubber tread.
This stirrup provides the ideal platform for standing all day two-pointing -- necessary if you are going to win a 100-mile endurance race!
The shank at the top is regular PVC piping, so it can be cut to any length to fit any width stirrup leather. The depth of the tread is 4 1/2" and the stirrup is 5 1/2" inside at its widest.
Also on the right is the Campdraft leather shown fitted to the Dangaard Combo Stirrup. Note how the billet point of the leather goes back between the folded leather and the pointed tongue goes into the top slot of the stirrup.
The keeper on the Campdraft leather is then pulled down and the stirrup is locked in place, it cannot slip from side to side. The regular Aussie Safety stirrup has a slot that can be used as it is shown here.
