Colin's Combo Saddle Bag
Sturdy cowhide saddle bags, 9 1/2" X 8 l/2" deep with 4" sides. Soft leather gullet. Buckles solid brass with stainless tongues. The horizontal pouch, for flashlight or hoof pick, is 5" X 2". The small square key pouch is 3" x 3" with twist closure. Securing D's are fitted on the bottom of each bag to take ties to the girthing rings. Each side is identical. Colors brown or black leather. Four attachment straps secure to coach brackets on the cantle of most Aussie saddles. But straps can be removed and replaced with leather thongs to secure to most Western saddles. Or brackets and screws can be requested to fit to the base of the Western cantle, to take the existing straps.

Use the leather strap with buckles to run through the forward most D under the top flap under the thigh, then secure further with redhide ties attached to the the D-rings on the back of the cantle.
