Tackaberry Buckle Fitted With Latigo Leather

$79.00

For the purists, the TACKABERRY BUCKLE comes fitted with latigo leather. To put the buckle on correctly, hang it up beside the horse with the lip facing out.

Then pass the point of the latigo over the top of the saddle cinch ring, Pull it down and then push it through the TOP SLOT of the buckle. Repeat passing the end over the girth ring, pull down the strap, then pass it through the BOTTOM slot.

Now pull gentle, working what is essentially a pulley, so easy to do you can do it with one hand. With the other hand, scratch the horse on the neck with each pull and he will grow to LOVE being cinched.

If he is already cinching, this action will likely cure it! remember, a tight cinch always.

Lose cinches are the biggest cause of injury and death to people and horses. You are not strong enough to hurt a horse by cinching him!!!
